![]() Restart your Mac by going Apple menu >Restart. Please try each step until you resolve your problem: Screen Keeps Flickering Mac. Here is what you can do if your Mac screen is flashing or flickering: Screenflick Mac Crack Version Screen flickering issue, fixes. Sorry for the rant, has been a long standing problem with my C7 that I’m still mad was never fixed and annoyed with the hoops I’ve had to go through over the years to get around it. Mac screen flickering can be caused by different issues. Someone in Australia is suing LG over it for never fixing it even after acknowledging it’s a problem. It honestly annoys the hell out of me this isn’t more commonly known especially when people recommend the CX. It’s not just an LG OLED problem, it’s also with some Samsung models and other TV’s as well but not all. you’ll have to get a switch to output to both the AVR and the TV at the same time. If your AVR adds input lag or doesn’t have VRR/Etc. Doesn’t matter if you’re using ARC or Optical on the LG it won’t matter. If you want to fix it you have to go PS5 -> AVR -> TV rather than PS5 -> TV -> AVR. The issue can still persist even with eARC enabled AVR’s and the CX but I’ve heard of eARC fixing it for some so who knows. There is no fix and I doubt there will ever be one. This is a problem with DTS and Dolby Passthrough on LG OLED’s and has been a problem for nearly 5 years now. So has anyone gotten flawless surround sound to work on their system? I've tried toggling all of the PS5's sound settings (set it to 7.1, to Sound Bar, etc) and I've tried changing some audio settings on my TV (an LG C9) but nothing seems to work. The only "solution" I've found over the past few days is buying a $50+ device on Amazon that splits the HDMI signal and extracts the audio. I do get 3D surround sound with headphones (PS5 Pulse), but I'd love to get it working without lag for my PS5. When I switch it to Dolby, I do get the surround sound, but the audio is delayed by half a second. The problem is when I have the audio settings to default (Linear PCM, with audio changed to AV Receiver and 5.1), I don't get any volume from my rear speakers. Same deal.Īfter a quick Google I learned that this seems to be a prevalent issue with PS5 owners: Reddit threads AVS Forum threads Even a Resetera thread from a month ago! until I played Ghosts of Tsushima and noticed the character's mouths weren't matching up with their dialogue. But something felt off when I played games. ![]() ![]() So after some tinkering in the settings, I got surround sound working on my 5.1 surround sound speakers (Vizio SB-36512's) for my PS5.
